| BYOD | Bring Your Own Device | A policy that lets staff use personal devices for work — which TTPA deliberately does NOT do; we use Toptronic-owned hardware. | Security |
| C-Grade / C-Suite | Chief-level executives | The most senior executives of a business (CEO, CFO, and peers); 'Ex C-Suite' means a former senior executive. | Roles & governance |

| CSV | Comma-Separated Values | A simple spreadsheet-friendly file we use to ship the list of actions taken on your account. | Technology |
| DORK | Advanced search-operator query (a.k.a. "dorking") | An advanced search built from precise operators — exact-phrase quotes, boolean AND/OR/NOT and field filters — that returns far sharper, more targeted results than simple drop-down filtering; your TTPA operator uses 'DORK filtering' inside Sales Navigator to find the right people faster. | Sales & LinkedIn |

| GPO | Group Policy Object | A Windows administration control used to lock down and standardise managed devices. | Security |
| HaaS | Human as a Service | TTPA's model — a real senior human runs your LinkedIn, the human-operated counterpart to software-only SaaS. | Service & pricing |
| HKIAC | Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre | The arbitration forum named in our legal agreements for resolving disputes. | Legal |
| HMAC | Hash-based Message Authentication Code | A cryptographic signature that proves a message has not been tampered with; our analytics events are HMAC-signed. | Security |
| HSTS | HTTP Strict Transport Security | A web-security setting that forces browsers to always connect over encrypted HTTPS. | Security |
| HTTP / HTTPS | HyperText Transfer Protocol (Secure) | The protocol browsers use to load web pages; the 'S' means the connection is encrypted. | Technology |
| HTTP/3 | HyperText Transfer Protocol version 3 | The newest, faster and more reliable version of the protocol browsers use to load web pages; our public site is served over it. | Technology |

| ICP | Ideal Customer Profile | The description of the type of company and decision-maker you most want to reach, used to filter Sales Navigator results and prioritise outreach. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| InMail | LinkedIn InMail | LinkedIn's paid direct-message feature for reaching people you are not yet connected to. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| IP address | Internet Protocol address | The network address that identifies a device on the internet; TTPA uses dedicated egress, not shared IPs. | Technology |
| ISO | International Organization for Standardization | The body that publishes international standards (e.g. ISO 27001 for information security). | Privacy & compliance |
| JWT | JSON Web Token | A signed token that keeps you securely logged in to your account portal. | Security |
| KPI | Key Performance Indicator | A measurable value that shows how well an objective is being met. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| KV | Key-Value store | A fast distributed data store used by the site's back-end. | Technology |
| KYB | Know Your Business | The checks used to verify a business customer's identity and legitimacy. | Privacy & compliance |
| KYC | Know Your Customer | The checks used to verify an individual customer's identity. | Privacy & compliance |
| NDA | Non-Disclosure Agreement | A confidentiality contract protecting information shared between the parties. | Legal |
| NED | Non-Executive Director | A board member who provides oversight without running day-to-day operations. | Roles & governance |
| NIST | National Institute of Standards and Technology | The US standards body whose cybersecurity framework many controls map to. | Security |
| NVDA | NonVisual Desktop Access | A widely used free screen reader; we test the site with it for accessibility. | Accessibility |
| Portable Document Format | The fixed-layout document format used for invoices and downloadable policies. | Technology | |

| POUR | Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust | The four guiding principles of the WCAG accessibility standard. | Accessibility |
| R2 | Object storage | The object-storage service where invoice PDFs and event archives are kept. | Technology |
| RFI | Request for Information | A formal procurement enquiry asking a vendor to supply information. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| ROI | Return on Investment | The financial gain from a spend, relative to its cost. | Finance & pricing |
| SaaS | Software as a Service | Software delivered over the internet on subscription, rather than installed and owned. | Technology |
| SCC | Standard Contractual Clauses | EU-approved contract terms that legalise transfers of personal data across borders. | Privacy & compliance |
| SDR | Sales Development Representative | A junior sales rep who sends high-volume outreach — the opposite of a single senior TTPA operator. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| SKU | Stock Keeping Unit | A single, separately-priced item you can order on its own; on this site it means a stand-alone service such as the USD 300 Account-Recovery add-on, billed apart from the monthly tiers. | Service & pricing |
| SLA | Service Level Agreement | A commitment to a defined standard of service, such as response time. | Legal |
| SN | Sales Navigator | LinkedIn's premium prospecting tool for finding and engaging buyers. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| SOC 2 | Service Organization Control 2 | An independent AICPA audit of a vendor's security controls; 'Type II' tests them over a period, not just once. | Security |
| SOP | Standard Operating Procedure | A documented, repeatable process for carrying out a task consistently. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| SSI | Social Selling Index | LinkedIn's 0–100 score of how effectively you use the platform to find and engage buyers. | Sales & LinkedIn |
| TCO | Total Cost of Ownership | The full all-in cost of something, including hidden and indirect costs — not just the headline price. | Finance & pricing |
| Tier 0–4 | Service tiers | TTPA service levels: Tier 0 is a one-off diagnostic, Tiers 1–3 are ongoing monthly service, and Tier 4 is a custom quote. Tiers are entered in sequence — to move up to Tier 2 a customer must have been on Tier 1 for at least 3 months, and each further step up follows the same minimum-tenure rule. | Service & pricing |
| TLS | Transport Layer Security | The encryption that protects data in transit; it is the 'S' in HTTPS. | Security |
| TOR | The Onion Router | A network that anonymises internet traffic by routing it through multiple encrypted relays. | Technology |

| TSC | Trust Services Criteria | The AICPA control framework that a SOC 2 audit is assessed against. | Security |

| XTS | XEX-based tweaked-codebook with ciphertext stealing | The AES disk-encryption mode used to protect data at rest on operator hardware. | Security |
